DO YOU KNOW JESUS?

>> The first thing we must all realize is that God loves us dearly!

That means you too!

You might be familiar with the Bible verse John 3:16 (NIV):

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

>> On the “ Romans Road ” we find yet more evidence of God’s awesome

love for you and me.

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

>> Remember that mankind’s very nature is sinful.

Romans 3:23

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

>> The result of sin is eternal separation from God.

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life inChrist Jesus our Lord."

>> Jesus was the sacrifice for our sins. His blood “paid” for our sins. Through Jesus, we can be in relationship with God and enjoy everlasting life.

Romans 5:6

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly."

>> Salvation is a gift. A gift is not earned but freely given. Once you accept the gift of salvation, it is yours! Accept the gift by confessing your belief that Jesus is Lord.

Romans 10:9 -10

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Say this prayer to God:

God, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I accept you, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior and I invite you to come into my heart and take full control. Please send your Holy Spirit and help me to obey your Word. In Jesus name, Amen.
